Zodiacs in Stealth is operated by Majestic Light Group, LLC. This page describes exactly what the app stores and what it sends elsewhere. It is written against the actual code rather than adapted from a template — if something here is vague, that is a bug, and you should tell us.
The short version
We store your email address, whether you have paid, and the readings you have opened. Birth details, if you give them, are never written to our database at all — they are used for one calculation and discarded. Nothing here is sold, shared for advertising, or used to profile you. There is no advertising and no third-party analytics on this site.
Your account
Authentication is handled by Clerk. Clerk holds your email address and credentials; we never see or store your password. From Clerk we keep a copy of your account id and email address so we can attach your readings and your purchase to you.
Against your account we store:
- your plan (free, or unlocked), and the date you unlocked it;
- your own star sign, if you set one;
- every reading you have opened, with its score and text;
- for readings you deepened with birth details, the derived list of angles between planets — never the birth details themselves;
- a usage row per reading per month, which is how the monthly allowance is counted.
Birth details
A birth date, birth time and birth city together are close to uniquely identifying — it is the same combination used for identity checks — so we treat them as more sensitive than anything else here.
- They are always optional. Every reading works without them.
- They are never stored. Not by default, not with an opt-in, not at all — there is no feature in this app that writes a birth date or time to our database. They are held in memory for the length of the one request that computes the chart, and then they are gone. Only the derived result — a list of angles between planets — is kept against your reading.
- We never ask for a birth city. The positions we calculate are geocentric: they depend on the moment, not on where anyone was standing, so a birth place would tell us nothing we use. It is also the field that turns a birth date into an identifier, so the form asks for a time zone instead. Nothing about a birth place is collected, stored, or sent anywhere.
- The other person in a reading is not a user of this app and has not agreed to anything. Nothing about them survives the request.
Chart mathematics — planetary positions and the aspects between two charts — is computed on our own servers from an open-source ephemeris. It is not sent to an astrology API.
Third parties, and exactly what reaches them
- Clerk — authentication. Holds your email and credentials.
- Stripe — payment. You enter card details on Stripe’s own checkout page; they never touch our servers. We store a Stripe customer id, a checkout session id, a payment id, the amount and the currency.
- Supabase (US, Oregon) — our database. It also hosts other apps by the same operator, but this app’s tables are separate and are readable only by our server.
- Prokerala — supplies an optional written commentary on the current planetary transits for a pair of star signs. It receives only the two sign names and a date. It does not receive your name, your email, your account id, or any birth details.
- OpenAI — used once, offline, by us, to generate the artwork you see. No user data is ever sent to OpenAI. The images are the same for everyone.
- Vercel — hosting. Standard server logs.
Cached third-party responses
Responses from Prokerala are cached so that many people asking about the same pair of signs cost one request rather than thousands. Cache entries are stored under a keyed cryptographic hash of the request parameters, are not linked to any account, and expire on their own.
Cookies
The only cookies set are the session cookies Clerk needs to keep you signed in, and Stripe’s cookies on their own checkout page. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party analytics, which is why this site does not show you a consent banner.
Deleting your data
Go to Account → Your data. There are two options, and both take effect in the moment you confirm — they are not queued and do not depend on a background job running later.
- Delete my readings — permanently removes every reading you have opened and your usage history. Your account and any purchased access remain.
- Delete my account — all of the above, and then the account itself. You are signed out and cannot sign back in with it.
Two things are deliberately kept in both cases: the record that a payment happened, and the log of payment events. We are required to retain those for accounting, tax and refund purposes. They contain no personal detail beyond an opaque account id, an amount, a currency and a date — no name, no email address, no birth details.
Deleting your account does not refund a purchase, and a new account will not inherit it. If you want a refund, read the refund policy and email us before deleting.
Retention
- Readings — until you delete them, which you can do yourself at any time from Account.
- Monthly usage rows — 13 months, then deleted automatically.
- Cached third-party responses — at most one year.
- Payment records — as long as the law requires.
Children
This app is not intended for anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, for anything that affects what we store or send, tell account holders by email.
